- Hackers must follow all rules and requirements, without taking unreasonable risks or causing any other person an unreasonable risk of harm. This includes filling out the typeform linked here in order to have your project be eligibile.
- PARTICIPATION IN HackDefy IS SOLELY AT YOUR OWN RISK
- Hackers own any developments made during HackDefy.
- HackDefy is intended to be an event where ideas are shared freely
- Hacker information may be shared with sponsors and HackDefy maintains the right to post/share projects made during the hackathon on social media and with sponsors.
- Hackers will not provide HackDefy with false or misleading information or otherwise violate the rules
- Hackers will not work on projects before the start time or submit a project that was made before the hackathon. Reports of cheating will be taken seriously and hackers found to be cheating could have their prizes stripped and be banned from further events.
- Here at HackDefy, we follow the Hack Code of Conduct. If you wish to report any violations of said code, you can either contact the director on social media or email hackathon@codefycs.org.
